BASF's PU sole originated 100% from renewable sources* is certified through an independent measurement system that guarantees the integrity and eco-sustainability of the finished product.

Basf BIOMASS BALANCE meets all international standards and safety guidelines for safety footwear. But the eco-sustainability and eco-friendliness of the product starts from theeco-friendly approach that involves the entire production process and includes the use of renewable sources such as biogas and bio-naphtha obtained from organic waste and vegetable oils to replace fossil sources.

WITH A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF RECYCLED MATERIAL

SAVE&FLEX PLUS GRE EN is the result of U-Power's R&D of new environmentally friendly and sustainable materials that provides 100% protection over the entire foot surface and uses 59% recycled polyester: a material obtained by melting plastic from bottles, plastic containers and post-industrial plastics.

The SAVE & FLEX PLUS GREEN anti-puncture system has the same safety benefits as the traditional SAVE & FLEX PLUS, but meets the requirements of an environmentally sustainable approach that is RCS (recycled Claim Standard) certified.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY UPPER, LACES AND LINING TO REDUCE PLASTIC POLLUTION

New materials used to make the upper of the shoes that make up the RED INDUSTRY GREEN range/assortment include:

• GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certifiedmicrofiber fabric with 40% recycled polyamide and excellent mechanical properties including: strength, softness and breathability (used for NIAGARA UK and NATURAL UK styles;




• Suede microfiber fabric (see style CANYON UK), extremely soft, durable and breathable, GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified using 50% recycled polyester;




• Putek Spider Repet, a new RCS ( Recycled Claim Standard) certified fabric composed of 68% recycled polyester that provides high abrasion resistance, light weight, water proof and high breathability;




• 100% recycled polyesterlaces and GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified: same features as standard laces but 100% green;




• WingTex Green, the exclusive GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified air tunnel lining that uses 66 percent recycled polyester and ensures prolonged well-being and foot health through its ability to dissipate sweat and keep the foot dry.
