• WOW2 GreenPU Biomass BalanceFootbed - Anatomical and antibacterial footbed made of 100% renewable-source PU by BASF (use of REDcert2-certified products by BASF containing 100% fossil substitution with renewable raw materials in its production chain);




• Upper - In soft microfiber, suede-effect microfiber or Putek Spider Repet, with components with a high percentage of recycled material (40% for microfiber, 50% for suede-effect microfiber, 68% for Putek Spider Repet);




• Strings - with 100% recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles obtained according to the criteria of recovery of plastic materials for responsible and sustainable development in the textile industry with the aim of reducing resource consumption (raw materials, water and energy);

The Red Industry Green range/assortment consists of winter and four-season eco-friendly work shoes styles in S1P SRC ES D or S3 CI SRC ESD safety rating suitable for both male and female audiences.

ISLAND UK - S3 CI SRC ESD

ISLAND UK is the S3 CI SRC ESD safety rating Carbon Neutral footwear with uppers made of Putek Spider Repet. This highly abrasion-resistant and extremely lightweight material is made from 68 percent recycled material and is ultra-strong and water-repellent. The green side inserts and laces(100 percent recycled polyester) create a pleasant contrast with the dark upper and, in addition to connecting to the concept of green safety shoes, increase worker visibility.

Foot health and comfort are ensured by theinnovative WOW2 Green - anatomical and antibacterial -footbed , 100% originated from renewable sources, which accommodates the foot by giving it a pleasant feeling of relief and lightness. In addition, the new seamless anti-static technology increases comfort by preventing contact chafing on the soles of the feet, and the anti-fatigue insert relieves body stress resulting from prolonged standing.

TheWingTex Green air-tunnel inner lining is also made from 66 percent recycled material and is highly breathable.

These environmentally sustainable footwear mount a totally "Metal free" Save & Flex Plus Green Puncture resistance system with a high percentage of recycled material (59%) that is sewn directly onto the upper to ensure 100% protection of the sole of the foot.

TheAirtoe Composite toe cap protects the toe box and provides safety for the worker. The composite material is extremely light (only 50 g. in weight) and is very flexible; this is a great advantages because, in the event of an accidental fall of a weight on the front of the shoe, the toe cap protects without deforming or crushing the toes, as could happen with a traditional steel toe cap.

Finally, theBiomass Balance PU sole provides high grip and is anti-abrasion, anti-static, non-slip, and resistant to oils and greases.
