We are excited to announce that U-Power was recently featured in an in-depth article in the renowned German industry magazine"ARBEITSSCHUTZ ABER SICHER"! This recognition underscores our growing commitment and success in the German market.
The article, published in the June issue of the magazine, highlights U-Power's expansion strategy in Germany, highlighting our goal to strengthen our position among the industry's prime players. Julia Sturm, Sales Director D/A/CH, shared U-Power's vision and plans, emphasizing our ambition to be among the top 5 players in Germany in the coming years.
STRATEGIC GOALS

U-Power is already recognized as the largest manufacturer of safety shoes in Europe, producing 6.2 million pairs of shoes in 2024 at its plant in Tunisia alone, equivalent to more than 22,000 pairs per day. We are the market leader in southern Europe (Spain, Italy and France) in work and safety shoes. Even in Germany, although our market share is still relatively small compared to southern Europe, we are already "among the prime non-German brands."
The article highlights our strategy to significantly increase this market share. Julia Sturm explained that after 20 years of being present in the German market through sales representatives, U-Power is now taking the "next step," which includes establishing its own structure and a significant increase in personnel, particularly in the sales force, which will be expanded to a dozen employees.
The main focus of our sales strategy remains on footwear, where we are the market leader. However, we are also expanding our offerings, completing the range of workwear and gloves. We pride ourselves on developing product lines that meet the needs of industrial customers, and our goal is to position ourselves as an all-round supplier in the D/A/CH market.
INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY

The magazine also highlighted our innovation, such as the"Red Leve" shoe series, our lightest shoe style, and the new"Red Ego" series, which is especially promoted. We are also proud to have introduced the first CO2 neutral certified shoe series, the"Red Industry Green," which completely offsets CO2 emissions.
"ARBEITSSCHUTZ ABER SICHER" also highlighted our strategic partnership with the 1. FC Nürnberg soccer team, an initiative that further strengthens our commitment to the German market.
A key aspect of our strategy is rapid product delivery. Our main warehouse in Paruzzaro, Piedmont, has been modernized and automated, enabling us to serve European markets quickly. This means that once the customer orders from the dealer, the shoe will be delivered within three to five days. This efficiency is made possible by our ability to produce all shoe components in-house, from the upper to the footbed.
