RED OVER is a range/assortment of work shoes designed to meet the need for protection and comfort in harsh weather conditions, where practicality and functionality are crucial, as in the case of Civil Defense boots. For this reason, the shoes feature an easy closure for quick removal.

The range/assortment consists of seven styles, all high to ensure ankle protection that start with a safety rating of

S3 CI RS SRC, indicating:

• S3: The presence of a reinforced toe cap to protect toes from falling heavy objects, an oil- and hydrocarbon-resistant, slip-resistant, anti-shock, water-repellent sole, and a puncture-resistant footbed;




• CI: Cold insulation of the bottom of the shoe;




• RS: Quick release safety shoes.

In addition to these protection standards, other properties are added, depending on the style, to meet additional safety requirements, specifically:

• SRC: Slip-resistance requirement;




• ESD: Electrostatic protection requirement;




• HI: Heat insulation of the bottom of the footwear;




• WR:Water-resistant footwear;




• HRO: Heat contact resistance requirement of the sole.

STOP WATER THANKS TO GORE - TEX LINING

is a material consisting of microscopic pores, 20,000 times smaller than a drop ofwater but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor.
This unique combination results in a fabric that offers long-lasting water proofing while providing high breathability.

Its application in safety shoes therefore allows normal foot perspiration without sweat stagnation and blockswater penetration inside the shoe. Exactly what is needed by those wearing Civil Defense safety shoes or first aid shoes.

Gore - tex is an exceedingly comfortable material that performs extremely well both at high temperatures and in changeable weather conditions. In addition, it is durable because Gore - tex footwear must withstand up to 300,000 bending movements - equal to 80 hours - in water at ankle height, without a single drop of water penetrating inside the shoe (keep in mind that the EN ISO 20344 standard requires only 4,800 bending movements - equal to 80 minutes - and 3 sq. cm. ofwater penetration is allowed).
