The collaboration between U-Power and the Fashion Tech Master's program at POLI.design, founded by Politecnico di Milano, is renewed with an innovative workshop that saw students engaged in the creation of revolutionary projects for the workwear sector.

On Nov. 19, 2024, the students had the opportunity to visit the U-Power headquarters in Paruzzaro (NO), coming into direct contact with the company's reality and thoroughly understanding the brand's philosophy. Then, from Feb. 19 to March 6, 2025, at POLI.design Bovisa, under the guidance of Professor Gianfranco Azzini, the young designers developed and presented their projects.

The workshop brief called for the design of footwear inspired by U-Power's "Point" footwear, along with the creation of a collection of fresh and innovative outfits. U-Power sought new ideas to renew its brand, collaborating with emerging talents from the Fashion Tech Master's program.

The students, divided into four groups, presented comprehensive projects ranging from fashion design to marketing strategies, from communication proposals to accessories, with the goal of revolutionizing the workwear industry.

  • Group 1: Urban Restyling - Explored the reworking of urban style in workwear.

  • Group 2: Forged - Presented a collection combining ruggedness and innovative design.

  • Group 3: Classic-U - It reinterpreted U-Power classics with a contemporary twist.

  • Group 4: Hardwire - Proposed advanced technical solutions for the workwear of the future.

Each group not only proposed a collection of outfits, but also came up with a comprehensive design addressing each aspect. The students aim to go beyond workwear, offering a comprehensive blend of performance and lifestyle-oriented designs.

The collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic confirmsU-Power's commitment to innovation and supporting young talent, propelling the brand into the future of workwear.
