Magliano wins the Karl Lagerfeld award and U‑Power is there!

Luca Magliano reconfirms himself among emerging luxury brands and beats the competition at the LVMH Prize 2023 by winning the Karl Lagerfeld Prize.

More than 2,400 candidates and two Italians among the nine finalists, including Luca Magliano, who had already worn U-Power shoes on the catwalk during Milan Fashion Week.

The prize was awarded by a hand-picked international jury with the most well-known names in fashion-Jonathan Anderson, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquière, marc jacobs, Kim Jones, Nigo, Stella McCartney, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Jean-Paul Claverie, Sidney Toledano, and Delphine Arnault.

The jury rewarded the creative and nonconformist audacity of Luca Magliano, who received the Lagerfeld Award wearing the very U-Power shoes, in a customized version inspired by the uppers and soles used for our safety shoes.

Kudos to Luca Magliano for his creative vision, for leading the way with his menswear collection and, of course, for wearing U-Power shoes at the award ceremony!
